Wow. It's hard to believe that I've been here almost a month already! Things have been very busy and God is moving and working here in such awesome ways.  I'm sorry it's taken so long to update but I'll try to summarize everything.

Through this past month, the Lord is teaching me. I never thought I could learn so much in one month but I'm realizing more each day width, height, and depth of His love for every person on this earth.  I can see it all over the beautiful, innocent faces of the children at the Rescue Center Children's home.  Where you would expect to see such despair and pain, there is only joy and excitement for living.  Spending time with these kids each week has been teaching me that this joy which these kids have is what God wants for all of His children.  He wants us to have so much joy and delight in Him alone.

It's an understatement to say these kids are changing my life and an even greater understatement to say I'm simply loving every moment with them.

On my way to the airport now and I just really can't believe this is happening. It's been almost a year since I was in Murang'a yet this desire to be there and serve the people has not faded. I cannot wait to see what God has in store. From experience I know there is really no way to prepare yourself to have your heart broken over and over again for the things you see and experience. But I'm ready to be back in that state of complete dependence on the Lord. I'm ready to be vulnerable again and open to whatever situation God may put me in, no matter how uncomfortable it may make me. I say that I'm ready, though, with some fear and hesitation. I guess I really mean that I know that's the state I NEED to live my life. And I feel so blessed to have this opportunity to be used for God in Kenya. I know I could never deserve this and I'm just so grateful. It's overwhelming. Please keep me in your prayers! And my family as well. I'll post again later this week :)
